The Sarvajanik University and V. T. Choksi Sarvajanik Law College took a momentous step towards fostering academic excellence, research, collaboration and promoting extension and training activities as they signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 1st February, 2024. The signing ceremony was held at Sarvajanik University, Surat, in the presence of distinguished individuals including Advocate Shri Shreyas Desai (Chairman, Administrative Committee, V. T. Choksi Sarvajanik Law College), Professor Persi Engineer (First Provost, Sarvajanik University) and Dr. Eramala Dayal (Principal In-Charge, V. T. Choksi Sarvajanik Law College) along with various other dignitaries.
The strategic partnership aims to strengthen their cooperative efforts in various domains, including research, and extension services. The collaboration will enable both organisations to leverage their expertise and resources for mutual benefit.
This initiative is in accordance with the principles articulated in the National Education Policy (NEP). The NEP emphasizes the imperative to "build character, enable learners to be ethical, rational, compassionate, and caring, while simultaneously preparing them for gainful, fulfilling employment."
The Sarvajanik University and V. T. Choksi Sarvajanik Law College will collaborate on the development and offering of specialised academic programs and courses related to life skill, as well as a diverse range of Multidisciplinary Skill-Based Certificate, Diploma, and Advanced Diploma Courses. This Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) outlines the shared vision and commitment of the parties involved in advancing the goals of character-building, ethical development, and preparing individuals for meaningful and rewarding employment.
